Xiaomi to Launch Redmi Note 13 Pro Series in China: Features 200MP Cameras and Powerful MediaTek Chipsets

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is gearing up to expand its budget-friendly Redmi sub-brand with a new lineup of devices. The company has officially announced on Weibo that it will unveil the Redmi Note 13 Pro series in China later this month. This series will comprise two new smartphones, namely the Redmi Note 13 Pro and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
Anticipated as standout features, both upcoming smartphones are expected to house impressive 200MP primary camera sensors. In addition to this, the Redmi Note 13 Pro models will introduce a fresh MediaTek chipset, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is rumored to feature a custom Samsung ISOCELL camera sensor. Xiaomi has been actively sharing teasers on the Chinese social media platform, revealing camera specifications and chipset details for the upcoming devices.
Furthermore, both smartphones have made appearances on the TENAA website with the model numbers 2312DRA50C and 2312DRA50C, respectively. According to the TENAA listings, these phones will sport 6.67-inch OLED displays and offer 5G connectivity. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is likely to offer up to 18GB of RAM, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro may come with up to 16GB of RAM.
Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro series will feature a remarkable 200MP rear camera setup. The higher-end Pro+ variant is expected to be powered by the new 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset, an upgrade over the standard Dimensity 7200 chip found in devices like the iQoo Z7 Pro 5G and Vivo V27 smartphones.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is set to boast a customized version of the 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition camera sensor, promising enhanced photography performance. This customized Samsung sensor is said to be similar to the Samsung HPX 200MP sensor used in the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G. Both phones are also likely to feature a 16MP selfie camera.
Battery-wise, the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ are expected to house 4,880mAh and 5,020mAh units, respectively.
